How it works
The LTM Starter Kit is built to grow with you, from your first 2-pound pair to heavier lifts as you build strength. Everything you need to start is in the box.
What's in your Starter Kit
- 2 handle bars (2 lbs each), with soft-grip covers sized for smaller hands
- 8 triangular weight plates (2 lbs each, US Patent D998,065 S)
How to adjust your weights
- Add or remove plates to match the weight you want
- Lock the plates in place with the turn collar
- Lift
Every plate is 2 lbs, so the math is simple. You'll learn the system in about 30 seconds.
What you can lift with the Starter Kit
With the bars and 8 plates, you can build:
- A 2 lb pair (just the bars)
- A 6 lb pair
- A 10 lb pair
- A single 14 lb LTM dumbbell
- A single 18 lb LTM dumbbell
You're progressing in 4-pound jumps, which matches how your body actually builds strength. No leaping from 10 to 15 and hoping your form holds.
Going heavier with Confidence Boosters
When you're ready to lift more, Confidence Boosters add extra plates so each dumbbell can hold more weight. Three Confidence Boosters take you to a 22 lb pair, the top of the LTM range.
You don't need them on day one. Most women start with the Starter Kit and add Confidence Boosters when they feel ready.
Why the triangular design matters
Most dumbbell plates roll when you set them down. It's a small thing in theory, but it gets in the way during floor work like push-ups, planks, and renegade rows. The triangular shape of the LTM plates (US Patent D998,065 S) keeps your dumbbells where you put them, on the floor, no extra base needed. You can also stand them up vertically for storage, which saves space.
Who LTM is for
Women starting strength training at home who want equipment that fits their hands, their space, and their actual weight range. Women who've moved past 5-pound dumbbells but aren't looking for a full rack. Anyone tired of gripping bars built for men's hands.
If that sounds like you, the Starter Kit is designed for your whole progression, not just where you're starting.
